How to Speed Up Internet Connection in Windows XP

Do you want to get the maximum speed your broadband connection is offering? Then you'll find this tweak very useful.

This tweak will counter's XP default settings, which allows program to reserve up to 20% of available bandwidth.

1. Click on Start (By the way make sure, you're the administrator before doing this)
2. Click Run
3. Type gpedit.msc
4. Click OK
5. Group Policy Window will appear
6. Click Administrative Template branch
7. Click Network branch
8. Select QoS Packet Scheduler
9. In the right window, click Limit reservable bandwidth
10. A new window will appear, tick Enabled
11. Set Bandwidth Limit (%) to zero.
12. Click Apply
13. Reboot.
